Four Star Charity Navigator Rating

Charity Navigator, the largest evaluator of charities in the United States, has give World Care four stars - their highest rating.  Their team of professional analysts has developed an unbiased, objective, numbers-based rating system to assess the financial health of over 5,000 charities in the United States.  Charity Navigator's rating system examines two broad areas of a charity's financial health:  how responsibly it functions day to day, as well as how well positioned it is to sustain its programs over time.  Each charity is then awarded an overall rating that ranges from zero to four stars.  In comparison with other well know organizations in Tucson, World Care has received a high and prestigious rating.  Other reputable organizations that operate in Southern Arizona, such as United Way and the American Red Cross, have received only a three star rating.  For more information regarding Charity Navigator's rating system and the ratings of other well-known charities, visit their website at www.charitynavigator.com.
