Serving Tucson and Southern Arizona
By organizing and re-distributing donated items from Tucsonans and area businesses, World Care promotes recycling and the channeling of millions of pounds of materials away from our landfills, changes individual lives, and encourages self-sustainability. On average, eighty-six percent of all donations stay here in Southern Arizona, benefiting more than 150 area nonprofits. World Care counts on a force of hundreds of volunteers: school children, teens fulfilling service learning projects, developmentally challenged youngsters, college students, adults desiring to give back to the community, and experienced retirees willing to share their knowledge, to improve the education, health and welfare of Southern Arizonans.
Local Impact
In 2009, 75% of World Care's resources went to deserving communities and organizations in Southern Arizona. We firmly believe in collaborating with local organizations to provide supplies and resources for those who need them most.
