What Can I Donate to World Care’s Tools for Health Program?
 

Items we can use in our free-loaner program include durable medical equipment in good-to-fair working condition. Frequently requested items include:

  • Wheelchairs

  • Walkers

  • Knee scooters

  • Bedside commodes

  • Elevated toilet seats

  • Shower chairs

  • Tub transfer benches

 

Before donating used equipment such as bedside commodes or toilet risers, we do ask that you please clean and disinfect the equipment using bleach.

We also accept adult diapers and other incontinence care supplies such as bed pads and personal cleansing cloths.

 
What Medical Items Can World Care NOT Take?
 

World Care cannot take any materials that are a potential biohazard: this includes used needles, syringes, & tubing, as well as un-sanitized toilet accessories.

 

We ask that you please call our offices before bringing your donation to check that we are able to accept it. We also ask that you check the expiration dates on materials that you wish to donate.

Proceeds Help Support Our Programs

All medical equipment and electronics collected as donations will immediately help those members of our community that are most in need while minimizing waste through recycling, refurbishing and re-purposing.
