World Care CEO Lisa Hopper Visits North Korea October, 2009:  World Care CEO Lisa Hopper was given a rare opportunity to visit North Korea with the hopes of assuaging some of the communication issues resulting from North Korea's militantly isolationist economy.  She was sent as part of an agreement to offset concessions negotiations with North Korea.  Her goal was to follow up on a shipment sent by World Care last year to ensure that the resources sent were being used properly.  According to Hopper, she was able to accomplish everything she hope to and gained a much clearer understanding of conditions in North Korea.
